Hands-on Pottery

For the creative type of art lover who's into clay and the three-dimensional world which it opens up, there's a chance to get in touch with the wet stuff - clay that is at a hand-on pottery session. Once you've exhausted all the museums, art galleries and studios, it's time to get on and make some of your own!

Whether you've got a special occasion with guests who are a bit creative or if you want to enjoy a relaxing and creative time with some friends, you can arrange a hands-on session at hands-on Pottery session. This takes place in a garden studio and under the expert supervision of the owner and you'll be able to get to grips with clay and its decoration as well as making yourself a gift to remember the day by. If you're really confident you may make something as a unique present for a friend. If it's the painting rather than than the pottery which attracts you along then there's also range of previously-made pottery and children's pieces which are awaiting your artistic talent and are ready for you to decorate and take away.

There's no barriers to what you may attempt, whether it's models, cups, plates, wall decorations, children's toys or whatever, it's your choice.

Similar courses can be run as corporate events for your organisation and these will foster team-building and social cohesion in your group as it learns to manipulate clay to create three-dimensional art objects or to mix and blend paints to decorate a previously-created work of art. Corporate courses such as these are invaluable stress busting and relaxation, fostering imaginative thinking, and plain simple creative fun. They serve to create team cohesion as members work individually but all focus on a variety of different tasks at the same time, watching each other and frequently offering advice and assistance.
